About Wilderness Workshop
For background about WW, review the Mission & History page; our newsletters & annual report provide great overviews of our current work. Though now slightly dated, the 10-minute “It Only Needs Defenders” video was created for WW’s 50th Anniversary in 2017; the 40-minute, older “Wild for Good” documentary tells even more of WW’s history.
Photographers
WW is fortunate to work with talented, conservation-minded photographers. Many of the images used on our website come from Jon Mullen/Ecostock or Samantha Sheppard. Steven DeWitt/Witness Tree Media has provided images for our work in the Homestake Valley and we often work with the nonprofit organization EcoFlight for aerial photography. Other photographers are noted as their images are used.
