Wilderness Workshop’s COVID-19 Protocols – Please read before signing up

Join Wilderness Workshop and the Glenwood Springs Citizens Alliance on a hike to learn about Rocky Mountain Industrials, Inc’s proposed expansion of the Mid-Continent Limestone Quarry. This hike will meet at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park parking lot, and will begin with a tram ride to the top of the mountain. The group will walk through an area near Transfer Trail which would be part of the massive mine expansion, with a footprint nearly 30 times the size of the current mine. Find out why this BLM-managed area is important and how you can join the effort to protect it. For more information on the proposed expansion, visit the Glenwood Springs Citizens Alliance webpage.
