WILDERNESS WORKSHOP COVID-19 PROTOCOLS – PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP

Project Description: The scope of this project has been changed to comply with local health guidelines. Join us for one day of trail restoration and maintenance work in the Hay Park area. Volunteers will work to restore a Wilderness trail to it’s natural state and complete maintenance work on the Buzzard Basin trail. Please note that this project has been changed from a backpacking trip to a single-day volunteer project.

Directions: Wilderness Workshop will provide detailed directions to registered participants within one week of the project date. Volunteer work will begin approximately 3.5 miles from the Thomas Lakes trailhead.

What to bring: Please bring a daypack, sunscreen, clothing layers, rain gear, bug repellent, 3 liters of water, snacks, work gloves, and a sack lunch to eat on the trail.

Wilderness Workshop is partnering with the US Forest Service, Roaring Fork Mountain Biking Association, Roaring Fork Valley Horse Council, and Capitol Peak Outfitters.
