Cathedral Lake Hike, near Aspen

Free and open to the public, registration required. 

Wilderness Workshop will be celebrating the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness area with a hike up the Cathedral Lake Trail. Join us in enjoying on this challenging day-hike and our naturalist guide will orient you to the areas wildflowers, wildlife, and natural history, as well as a bit of history about the creation of the Maroon Bells-Snowmass and other nearby Wilderness Areas. This is a hike you don’t want to miss!  Please bring all your own hiking gear including water, sunscreen, lunch, snacks, and sturdy shoes.

Distance: 5.6 miles round trip
Elevation gain: 2000 feet
Difficulty: Strenuous
