Restore a Wetland

Crooked Creek Wetlands Project
Fri.-Sun., Sept. 7-9

Crooked Creek Pass – Back by popular demand! The Forest Service has removed a series of dams to restore a former high elevation wetland; our crew will car camp (optional) and re-vegetate the area with willows and other native species. This is the third year of this important and well-liked project.

We’re partnering on this project with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV), the Forest Service and the Roaring Fork Conservancy.
