Lime Park Hike, near Meredith

Join Wilderness Workshop to explore the Lime Park area, near the Holy Cross Wilderness Area. Rich with Aspen, Spruce and Fir forests, sandstone karst formations and sinkholes, and surrounded by alpine peaks, the Lime Park area is the site of a recently adopted U.S. Forest Service Vegetation Management Project. Take the day to learn and play with us in this important and scenic wildland.

  • This is a difficult mid-elevation 6-8 mile hike and steep, with 1200 feet elevation gain.
  • No dogs are allowed.
  • This adult program is appropriate for those 12 years and older who are strong hikers. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
  • Bring appropriate day hike equipment including water, snacks, and lunch. Suggested Day Hike Gear List
