There are lots of ways to enjoy our public lands. On this special hike, Wilderness Workshop has partnered with Lindsay Gurley, Wilderness Workshop Board Member and founder of Ora Māia to awaken your senses with guided mindfulness, meditation, and movement in Avalanche Creek, a tributary of the Crystal River. Only a dozen or so miles from Carbondale, the Avalanche Creek trail is lush and green with riparian and forest life zones. Gurley will lead our small group in mindfulness practice that will reconnect participants to themselves and to our idyllic and wild surroundings.
