Carbonate Creek Hike Sunday, August 12 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free and open to the public, registration required. Starting just outside Marble at the base of the now-defunct Marble Ski Area, the trail emerges onto National Forest lands and crosses Carbonate Creek. Just on the other side of the creek, the trail climbs up a very steep incline.
